Wholesale Furniture Brokers' Online Shopping Survey Results
Wholesale Furniture Brokers has published a blog post with the results to their online shopping survey that was conducted during their Father's Day 2010 contest. Over 550 people completed the survey as part a requirement to enter the contest.
A majority of the people that answered the survey has purchased items online, but less than half plan to purchase furniture online. The results of the survey are designed to help ecommerce websites learn more about why people would and would not shop online. The questions are targeted towards furniture shopping. "With the furniture market becoming more competitive, we needed to look at ways we can target new niches that aren't currently being targeted. We designed the survey to help us learn more about why people don`t order online from the people that don't order online," says Matt Holmes, Wholesale Furniture Brokers' Marketing Manager.
Wholesale Furniture Brokers released the results of the survey to increase the reputation and credibility of their furniture store blog.
"We are encouraging other ecommerce website owners to post comments on how they would use the information to help improve their website," adds Holmes.
