New Jersey Woman Shot and Killed in Front of Daughter at YMCA

A man entered a New Jersey YMCA on Thursday and shot and killed the mother of his two children before running from the recreation center and fleeing in a white jeep.

According to authorities Kenneth A. Duckett, 37, ran inside the YMCA and opened fire on Monica Paul, 31, in front of their 11-year-old daughter.

Paul and her daughter had been sitting in a waiting area while hr 4-year-old son was taking part in a swimming class for preschoolers. Paul had obtained a restraining order against Duckett last year.

No children were hurt in the shooting.
