Plane in Colombia Splits Apart While Landing

A plane attempting to land in San Andres, Colombia Monday morning broke apart into three chunks after it was struck by lightning.

The Colombia national police report the Aires airline Boeing 737 crashed around 1:50 a.m. It was carrying 131 passengers. One person was killed and 34 were injured.
