Earthquake Hits Papua New Guinea

A strong earthquake rocked a Papua New Guinea early Monday morning. The U.S. Geological Survey reports a 6.3 magnitude temblor struck about 270 miles from Port Moresby near the province of West New Britain at 1:09 a.m.

There were no immediate reports of damages or injuries.
