Clay Felker Dies at 82

The founder of New York Magazine Clay Felker has died at the age of 82. The magazine mogul died Thursday morning in his New York City home after battling throat cancer.

 

Felker published, edited and wrote several publications including Life, Time, Esquire, the Village Voice, Adweek, Daily News Today, Manhattan Inc. and U.S. News and World Report.

 

The University of California at Berkeley named their magazine journalism program after Felker in 1995.
