At Least 18 Killed in Mine Collapse in China

At least 18 miners were killed in a coal mine collapse at the Huisen Liangshuijing Coal Mine in China’s Shaanxi province. Two of the miners who died had been pulled from the rubble alive before dying.

Reports have indicated ten miners had been rescued from the collapse.

China is known to be the world’s largest producer and consumer of coal and for this reason they have one of the deadliest mining industries as well.
