South Carolina Mom Shaquan Duley Admits to Suffocating Children, Pushing Car into River

South Carolina authorities say a woman whose children were found dead in a car submerged in Edisto River has admitted to killing them. Shaquan Duley confessed to smothering her 1 and 2-year-old sons at the Trumps Inn motel in Orangeburg, then buckling them in their car seats and rolling her Chrysler sedan in to the river.

She walked nearly a mile down the road before calling 911 and reporting the incident as a car accident. She claimed she lost control of the car and it plunged into the river.

Duley, 29, will face murder charges. She also has a 5-year-old daughter, who was at home with her grandmother at the time of the incident.
