Rush Limbaugh Signs $400 Million Deal, Set to Purchase G550 Jet

Rush Limbaugh signed one of the most lucrative deals in radio history on Tuesday, keeping the Limbaugh's show extended till 2016.

Limbaugh signed the deal with Clear Channel and Premiere Radio for a reported $38 million a year salary. He also received a nine-figure signing bonus, making the deal worth a total of over $400 million, according to media insiders.

Limbaugh said with his new contract, he is purchasing a brand-new Gulfstream G550 jet. The Gulfstream G550 is the longest range business jet in the world and costs between $45-70 million.

The Drudge Report said that Limbaugh's new salary is more than annual salaries for network news anchors Katie Couric, Brian Williams, Charlie Gibson and Diane Sawyer combined.
