Angela Eversole Arrested for Trading Sex for Gas Card

Angela Eversole was arrested during a police sting last weekend in Kentucky for trading sex for a gas card.

Eversole, 34, accepted a "$100 gas card and other gifts" from an Indiana man she met for a "sexual liaison" Friday night at a Days Inn hotel in Fort Wright, Ky, according to police reports. The gas card was for Speedway gas stations.

Eversole was charged with prostitution and operating a business without a license. Kenneth Nowak, 50, was charged with promoting prostitution.

Andrea Lawson, Cindy Raisor and Linda Schmidt all face prostitution charges. Schmidt also is charged with possession of cocaine. Eversole and Cherri Okoli were also arrested for soliciting.

Cincinnati's WCPO-TV says Eversole's boyfriend Anthony Schaffner, 22, denied the charges. "She's wrong for cheating on me, but that's what she was doing, so far as that goes. She definitively isn't a prostitute," said Schaffner.

Eversole pleaded not guilty during a Tuesday arraignment.
