Financial Networking Community The GMD provides press release distribution through its parent company TransWorldNews. The GMD, a Financial Networking Community for public companies, brokerage firms, stock brokers and individuals, provides an array of tools for publicly traded companies throughout the world to network with brokerage firms, stock brokers and individuals and vice versa.

Each of the four categories listed (public companies, brokerage firms, stock brokers, individuals) register in their own individual area and are provided with registration fields that pertain to them. Public Companies when registering include the exchange they are listed along with their stock symbol, contact information and an about us. Brokerage Firms and Stock Brokers are provided various fields that differ from publicly traded companies as are individual members.

The goal of The GMD is to provide a distinct financial networking community specific to publicly traded companies that brokerage firms and stock brokers can link to and network with. Brokerage Firms, Stock Brokers and Individuals can also link to one another and share information and knowledge regarding companies registered or not registered on the site.

The GMD provides members the ability to submit press releases for distribution over the web and newsrooms in the United States. Members can also set news alerts to specific companies and when news from those companies is released through The GMD or its parent company TransWorldNews an alert will be sent to those members.

Each member can select to have an exclusive profile home page that excludes any outside ads from running on that profile. This provides branding ad traffic through clicks on the banners from the profile of that member.

The GMD also offers message boards and delayed stock quotes on exchanges in the U.S. and Canada. Members can post to The GMD message boards and request that new boards be created.
