Wright County Egg Recalls 228 Million Eggs

Wright County Egg in Galt, Iowa has issued a recall for 228 million eggs due to possible salmonella poisoning.  The recall includes 13 popular brands of eggs packed between May 16 and August 13 with plant numbers 1026, 1413 or 1946 stamped on the end of the egg carton.

The affected brands are: Lucerne, Albertson, Mountain Dairy, Ralph's, Boomsma's, Sunshine, Hillandale, Trafficanda, Farm Fresh, Shoreland, Lund, Dutch Farms and Kemp.

The eggs were linked to over 200 salmonella poisoning cases in Colorado, California and Minnesota.
