North Korean Military Plane Crashes in China

A North Korean military plane crashed in northeastern China Tuesday, killing the pilot and destroying a house. It appears the pilot was attempting to defect to Russia. Chinese authorities have released very little information about the crash. They are communicating with authorities in North Korea, according to the Xinhua news agency.

The plane went down at Lagu Township in Fushun County, which is located in Liaoning province.
