Taliban Prison Found in Afghanistan

A makeshift prison operated by the Taliban was found in southern Afghanistan on Tuesday. Security forces discovered the prison, which was located near Musa Qaleh in Helmand Province, through tips and intelligence. Thirteen insurgents trying to defend the compound were killed by soldiers.

Twenty-seven prisoners were found inside. They appeared to have been tortured. The men were taken to a base for medical treatment and questioning.
