Christie Brinkley, Alexa Ray Joel Testify in Brinkley, Peter Cook Divorce Trial

Christie Brinkley testified Thursday during her public divorce trial with estranged husband, architect Peter Cook.

Brinkley, 54, took the stand in state Supreme Court, a day after Cook and his former mistress, Diana Bianchi, testified.

Brinkley, the former supermodel, said that the day she learned Cook was having an affair with a teenager was the day "my life as I knew it had vanished."

Brian Platt, Bianchi's stepfather, informed Brinkley of the affair at a 2006 graduation at Southampton High School where she was a speaker.

Platt came behind her, tapped her on the shoulder and said, "That husband of yours won't knock it off. He's having an affair with my teenage daughter."

"That was also the day that my world was completely shattered," said Brinkley during her testimony.

During his testimony Wednesday, Cook said he had given his mistress, Diana Bianchi, a $300,000 payoff, had sex with her in his office and Brinkley's Hamptons homes, and spent $3,000 a month on online porn.

Before being informed of the affair with Bianchi, Brinkley said the biggest problem she perceived in their marriage was Cook's relationship with Alexa Ray Joel, her daughter with Billy Joel.

Joel testified as well, saying that Cook was good to her mother before they got married. However, soon after they tied the knot, Cook became overly critical of her.
