Gospel Singer Timothy Wright Critically Injured in Crash, Wife Killed

Gospel singer Timothy Wright was critically injured and his wife killed after a car accident in Greene Township, Pennsylvania on Friday night.

Wright, his wife and grandson had been returning from a conference in Detroit when a wrong-way driver struck their vehicle causing a three-car accident. Betty Wright was killed in the accident as was the wrong-way driver, John Pick.

Timothy Wright was critically injured and his 14-year-old grandson was injured as well, both were taken to Geisinger Medical Center. Their condition has not been released.

Wright, 61, is the pastor at Grace Tabernacle Christian Center in New York City.
