Georgia Father Kills Daughter Who Wanted Out of Arranged Marriage

A Georgia man is in jail after he killed his 25-year-old daughter because she wanted out of an arranged marriage.

According to police Chaudry Rashard had been arguing with his daughter, Sandela Kanwal, over her marriage to a man living in Chicago. The argument boiled over into a physical altercation at which point Rashard killed his daughter.

Sandela had not been in contact with her husband for three months when she was killed.
