Hillandale Farms Recalls Eggs

On the heels of a massive egg recall issued by Wright County Egg, another Iowa based farm has voluntarily recalled their eggs. Hillandale Farms has recalled shell eggs distributed to companies that are located in or service 14 states.

The affected eggs were sold in 6-egg cartons, dozen-egg cartons, 18-egg cartons, 30-egg packages and five-dozen egg cases under the brands Hillandale Farms, Sunny Farms and Sunny Meadow. The recall also includes loose eggs packed under the Wholesome Farms and West Creek brands.  They have the plant number p1860 with date codes between 099 and 230, or the plant number P1663 with dates codes between 137 and 230.

The number of eggs recalled is unclear.
