SisterMonk Guitarist Jody Rubel Discusses New Album “Never Give Up” in Audio Interview with YourFindit

SisterMonk songwriter/rhythm guitarist Jody Rubel took a few minutes out of his day to sit down and speak with YourFindit and gave music fans a glimpse inside what inspired their unique sound, the success of their recent album and where SisterMonk would be playing next.

With the recent release of their 11-track CD “Never Give Up,” recorded at the Robert Lake Studio in Seattle, the band will be performing their Eastern-influenced sound to an expected 10,000 fans as they headline the Choochokam Arts Festival on July 12 on Whidbey Island Langley, Washington, later that evening they will pack the Dog House for an added show.

Rubel shied away from making any direct comparison to current artists but did mention that their sound had a Dave Matthews like danceability to it and for those attending a live performance they should be prepared to move their body.
