Author Christine Feehan, known for her bestselling novels and edgy promotions has just released her newest book trailer. This is Feehan’s first music video book trailer and she plans on having the original music and fast-paced video seen by millions.
In July the video will play on Transit TV which shows video on flat screens on buses in Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Orlando, Chicago and Atlanta. The video is being distributed to over 100 online sites by the video’s producers, Circle of Seven Productions. A 30 second spot utilizing the video and the music will also play on television in select areas and in select movie theaters.
The video stars Cecilia Feehan, is the author’s daughter who has appeared in previous videos as the character Joley of her popular Drake Sisters series. The last Drake sister novel starred Feehan’s daughter Domini Stottsberry. The video for Safe Harbor went viral online and the book hit #1 on the New York Times bestseller list.
“I am thrilled with the video and with the music!” says Feehan. The music was created by the video producers as well with lyrics written by Sheila Clover English and the music by the band CORVO which includes Circle of Seven Productions’ partners. Cecilia Feehan lip syncs to the music by CORVO brilliantly as the 3-panelled video plays out scenes from the book.
“We hope that the uniqueness of the video will appeal to young, hip audience and that we’ll see this video go viral off line as well as online,” says Circle of Seven Productions CEO Sheila Clover English. “We hired a director who has worked on music videos for top celebrities such as Gloria Esteban and Lil’ Kim in order to best present the trailer as a music video.” She continues, “And we hired a popular up-and-coming actor out of San Francisco, Eric Holter, to bring depth to the piece. The trailer has been a collaborative effort by many professionals and I think that shows in the quality and action of the video.”
