Teddy Dupay, Former Gators Player, Charged with Felony Rape
Former Florida Gators Basketball player Teddy Dupay has been charges with felony rape, aggravated assault and aggravated kidnapping. The charges were filed last week after a woman claimed she was attacked by Dupay at Deer Valley Ski Resort in Utah on June 19.
The woman, who has not been identified, alleges that Dupay repeatedly kicked and punched her before he raped her. The 29-year-old former basketball player denied that he raped the woman but admitted that they did get “a little rough.”
Court papers show the woman had a two years relationship with Dupay. She suffered two fractured ribs, bruises, scratches and a swollen left eye from the attack. Dupay is scheduled to be arraigned Monday.
