Will Smith Admits to Open Marriage with Jada Pinkett-Smith

Will Smith admitted Thursday that the key to his successful relationship with wife Jada Pinkett-Smith is having an open marriage, according to UK's Now Magazine.

In an interview with Now Magazine, Smith, 39, said the secret to their successful marriage is a healthy and open sex life. "Lots of sex. All the time, every day. Just lots of sex keeps me going good!" Smith said.

"I was very interested that first night, but I was in a bizarre mental space," said Smith. "Three months into it, we were at her mom's house and it just hit me. I looked at her and just knew this was it."

Smith said that honesty is the foundation of their 11-year marriage. He said that it is "healthy" to be attracted to other people and is okay telling his wife so. "Our perspective is, you don’t avoid what's natural and you’re going to be attracted to people," said Smith. "So sometimes we have the discussion: 'Wow, this or that girl is freaking gorgeous.' I'm not going to say anything to my buddies that's any different than what I say to my wife"

Smith said that they have yet to have lovers outside of the marriage, but the couple would tell each other if the situation arises. He said that if the situation would arise, they would say to each other, "I’m not going to do it if you don’t approve of it."

"I don't know how I'd feel [if she said she had feelings for another person]. But I know I would react better than if I found out about it afterwards," said Smith.

The couple has two children together: son Jayden, 10, and daughter Willow, 8. Smith also has another son, Willard, 15, from his first marriage.

Smith currently stars in the summer blockbuster "Hancock," which has grossed $126 million domestically in its first eight days.
