Police Searching for Missing Soldier Holley Wimunc After Apartment Fire
Authorities are searching for a missing female soldier after her apartment burned down. The fire had gone out at second Lt. Holley Wimunc’s apartment by the time police arrived Thursday morning but evidence of arson was found.
Wimunc’s car was still sitting in the apartment parking lot. Her disappearance is being treated as a missing person case.
Wimunc was going through a divorce and neighbors say her estranged husband no longer lived at the apartment.
The lieutenant is assigned to Charlie Company, Womack Army Hospital in Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
