Bob Dylan to Perform Live at the Constellations Brands Performing Arts Center in New York August 19

Born Robert Allen Zimmerman, Bob Dylan is a well k known American singer-songwriter, musician, disc jockey, poet and author. Being a major player within the music industry for five decades, Dylan’s most famous work came from the 1960’s, which includes “Blowin in the Wind” and “The Times They Are a-Changin.” Through his music Dylan became “an informal chronicler and a reluctant figurehead of American unrest.” (Wikipedia)
Dylan’s most recent album, Modern Times, was released on August 29, 2006 and was named by Rolling Stone magazine as the Album of the Year. He recently was awarded a Pulitzer Prize Special Citation for his “profound impact on popular music and American Culture, marked by lyrical compositions of extraordinary poetic power.”
