7-Year-Old Boy Suffers Fractured Skull after Being Hit by Foul Ball at Chicago Cubs Game

A 7-year-old boy is recovering and expected to live after he was struck by a foul ball while attending a Chicago Cubs baseball game on Thursday.

Dominic DiAngi was sitting behind the Cubs dugout at his first major league game when he was struck in the head by a foul ball off the bat of Chicago pitcher Ted Lilly.

DiAngi was rushed to Children’s Memorial Hospital and on Friday he regained consciousness.
