Tiger Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren have officially divorced Monday, nine months after the golfer was embroiled in a media scandal due to his infidelity.
The divorce was filed in Bay County Circuit Court in the Florida Panhandle. The couple married in October 2004 in Barbados, and have two children: 3-year-old daughter, Sam, and 19-month-old son, Charlie.
Terms of the divorce were not released, except that they will "share parenting" of their children.
Woods has committed to play this week at The Barclays at the Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, NJ. The golfer has had a difficult return to golf since he returned several months ago.
