Siva Talks about the Evolution of Their Band, Upcoming Shows, New Video and Announces Plans for New Album in YourFindit Interview

Hard-hitting Oklahoma City rock/metal band Siva took some time to promote their upcoming shows and discussed their plans for a video and a new album in their recent interview on YourFindit.

Siva, Sanskrit for “destined for success,” appears set to live up to their name as they continue to attract large crowds and receive praise for their developed sound, something all five members come together on to create.

Heavily influenced by the pounding sounds of Megadeath, Metallica, Velvet Revolver and Nine Inch Nails, the band still finds their own voice and delivers fans a unique blend of late 1980s metal infused with the dominating female vocals of Bridgette Oliver.

Fans can catch Siva, playing with Drowning Pool, at Fusion Affect in Shawnee, OK on July 16 before they head to Dallas to play the Curtain Club on July 19. The ready-to-travel metal quintet will then move on to Joplin, Missouri for a show at The Surge on July 25.

Those attending the shows will almost certainly hear the crowd favorite “Dirty Secret,” the recent single that has enjoyed regular airplay. “Dirty Secret” will be the subject of Siva’s first video, expected to be filmed mid to late September.

Taking part in the interview were Bridgette Oliver (lead vocals), Bryan "Bizzle" Jackson (guitar, backing vocals), Brandon Fields (drums) and David (rhythm guitar) with bass player Brian "Rakit" Shafer unable to participate.
