7 Bodies Found in Two Hidalgo Mines

Authorities in Mexico discovered the bodies of seven men in two mines in Hidalgo state over the weekend. The bodies were found after police arrested 6 people, including two police officers, involved a confrontation in the city of Pachuca. The suspects told authorities about a mine in Pachuca and a min in Mineral del Chico.

Police searched the mines and found three bodies in Pachuca and four bodies in Mineral del Chico. The remains are believed to be those of drug dealers, but they have not been officially identified.

On Sunday, the mutilated and decapitated bodies of four men were found hanging from a bridge in a town near Mexico City, Mexico. The men were believed to have been caught up in the fight between Edgar Valdez and Hector Beltran Leyva for control of the successful Beltran Leyva drug cartel.
