Jib Jab Debuts Cartoon Satire Video About Obama, McCain

Jib Jab released their satirical cartoon, "Time For Some Campaignin", on Wednesday, spoofing the three biggest presidential candidates and the White House.

The video shows cartoon figures with the faces of Sen. Barack Obama, Sen. Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Sen. John McCain, President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney.

Jib Jab, a cartoon video satire site, used the Bob Dylan song "The Times They Are a Changing" as the inspiration for their latest political satire involving Obama and McCain.

JibJab.com became famous in 2004 with a cartoon song parody about George W. Bush and John Kerry, set to "This Land Is My Land."

In "Time for Some Campaignin," Obama is portrayed as living in a fantasy world where he is riding a unicorn and uttering the word "change" over and over again. McCain is seen as a cranky, elderly warrior who ends up in a nursing home on the cusp of death. Clinton is featured packing up her campaign paraphrenalia, only to resurface with "Hillary 2012" banners.

The video have several vignettes of each political figure, all of which end with the resounding chorus, "It's time for some campaigning".

JibJab.com allows for people to upload photos of themselves in order to be placed in the video as well. Towards the end of the "Time for Some Campaignin" video, there is a scene with Obama and McCain next to a voter. This scene can feature a viewer who uploads his or her picture, but one has to be a Jib Jab member to share the edited video with others.
