Rockets to Ruin will continue their ascension to the top of the rock world with a stop in one of metal’s most recognized venues, Whiskey A Go Go in Hollywood, CA on July 27.
The band, comprised of Cleveland Willis (Vocals), Mike Grimmett (Guitars & vocals), Chris Taylor (Bass & vocals) and Rob Hammersmith (Drums), have toured extensively while promoting their debut full-length album Love*Drugs*Rebellion and just recently wrapping up a series of shows in Texas that put them in San Antonio, Austin and Dallas.
Having already shared the stage with legends such as Paul Stanley of KISS, Skid Row and Josh Todd of Buckcherry, Rockets to Ruin have willingly accepted the responsibility of keeping “sleazy rock n’ roll” alive and kicking.
In addition to gaining the respect of their peers on stage Rockets to Ruin has appealed to outside mediums as well, having worked a deal with ESPN for three NASCAR promos that will run through Nov. 2008 featuring the hit “Gotta Go, Gotta Roll.”
Lead singer Cleveland Willis recently talked with YourFindit about the evolution of Rockets to Ruin and the direction the foursome are heading. Check out the complete interview with Rockets to Ruin frontman Cleve to hear what really drives the band.
