JDM, an innovative, full service marketing firm, announced today the launch of their client, Omaha's G.I. Surplus, new eCommerce website.
The site, which was creatively and technically completely re-done, focuses on providing customers a sense of context when shopping as well as ease-of-use.
"Context while shopping allows customers to not just see what is available, but also to understand the its use and value." Says Justin Downey, owner of JDM. "We wanted to provide Omaha's shoppers the ability to find and understand the numerous products offered in a way that was innovative and fun."
Aside from the innovative creative design of the site, JDM also integrated real-time user data to provide shoppers with real-time selections of associated products purchased by other Omaha’s shoppers.
"My favorite feature of the new site," remarks Brad Williams, Co-Founder of Omaha's, "is the 'Fun Find'. Our 'Fun Find' allows customers to navigate our products through a graphic interface which showcases the products in context of one another."
The "Fun Find" feature combines products into three main categories: camping/survival, theatre/fashion and Collector's items. "It's something you have to see to believe.” Remarks Brad.
