Barack Obama Campaign Announces $52 Million in Contributions for June

Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama has received an impressive bump in campaign contributions with an estimated $52 million brought in during June.

The Obama haul was $30 million more than what Republican presidential nominee John McCain brought in for the same period. Despite the disparity, the June figures represented the highest monthly total for McCain’s campaign.

As for Obama, the June campaign figures were his second best since announcing his presidential bid. In February Obama brought in $55 million.
