Dog Saves Woman During Kangaroo Attack

An Australian woman who was attacked by a Kangaroo was saved by her son’s dog which chased the marsupial off after hearing her scream for help.

The 65-year-old woman was on her farm north-west of Sydney when the large kangaroo pounced on her and began delivering blows with its powerful legs.

Hearing the woman scream the dog bolted after the kangaroo, chasing the attacker off.

The woman was taken to a local hospital where she was treated for a concussion and several cuts on her face, hands and back.
