Child Left in Car Dies While Mother has Nails Done for Wedding

A four-year-old Florida boy died on Saturday after his mother left the child in her SUV to get her nails done just hours before she was to be married.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office the mother may not have known that her son was in the vehicle when she went to the nail salon. After spending nearly three hours in the salon she returned to her SUV and found the boy nearly dead.

Witnesses said the mother tried to perform CPR on her son and he was rushed to the Palms West Hospital but he was pronounced dead shortly after.

The mother was scheduled to be married on Saturday. The Sheriff’s Office has said it is still too early to determine if charges will be filed against the mother.
