Grandparents: Mother May Know Where Caylee Anthony is
The grandparents of missing 2-year-old Caylee Anthony believes the girl’s mother may know where she is. Cindy Anthony believes the toddler’s mother Casey Anthony knows where Caylee is but isn’t able to tell investigators.
“Her plan was to get us all back together, and I think her plan has changes and I think that’s what happened. Her plan changed half was through, and she doesn’t know where it’s at right now,” Cindy says. “I truly believe Casey knows who has Caylee but its code name. That’s why they can’t find that person just yet.
Casey Anthony was arrested last week and charged with child neglect and lying to police after she waited five weeks to report her daughter’s disappearance. She told investigators that she dropped Caylee off at a babysitter’s Orlando apartment in early June.
The apartment she identified to be the babysitter’s had been vacant for four months, investigators say, and the woman she claimed was the babysitter didn’t know Anthony. Anthony is currently being held in jail.
Investigators say Anthony has not been helpful in the search for Caylee.
