Academic Summer Camps Help Top Students

Academic summer camps, like SuperCamp, are playing a bigger role in the development of top-performing students as well as those students who are struggling with poor grades.

While teen summer camps have traditionally served as an alternative to summer school for many families with under-performing students, teen camps, such as SuperCamp, are helping straight-A student with college prep skills and 21st century skills in the areas of learning, innovation, life and career skills.

SuperCamp develops the campers in three ways with learning skills and life skills and through physical challenges that help them with everything from team building to getting outside of their comfort zones.

SuperCamp's residential summer camps are 10 days long and are held on beautiful college campuses across the United States. Colleges such as Stanford, Wake Forest and Brown are host sites for SuperCamp's Junior Forum program for students entering grades 6 ot 8 in the fall and Senior Forum, which is open to students going into grades 9 to 12 in the fall.

SuperCamp uses Quantum Learning teaching and learning methods that are an outgrowth of accelerated learning, which promotes teaching and developing the whole person. More information on SuperCamp and the company's school programs for teachers and students is available at www.QLN.com.
