50:50 Shot to Play Live at Longbranch Saloon in Knoxville, Tennessee August 1

Atlanta based ska/punk/rock band, 50:50 Shot will be performing live at the Longbranch Saloon in Knoxville, Tennessee on Friday, August 1 at 9:00 pm.  The band will be performing with good band friend the Taj Motel Trio, as well as the Hits, Murdock and the Best of the Worst.

50:50 Shot is an Atlanta based punk rock band with strong ska influences.  With a sound similar to that of the Taj Motel Trio, yet a sound all of their own, the band plans to continue gigging for their band for their fans and for the sake of their music itself.  They began recording an album in February 2008, but no release date has been set, though hey are hopeful that the CD release party will be set for September 12.

After Longbranch, the band will head back to Georgia for Swayze’s Ska Fest on Friday, August 15.  Swayzes is the band’s favorite venue and they play there often.
