WWE Star Luna Vachon Found Dead

Former WWE star Gertrude Vachon, better known by her stage name Luna Vachon, has died. According to reports, the 48-year-old was found dead at her mother’s Florida home Friday around 10 a.m. Foul play is not suspected.

Vachon wrestled with WWE from 1993 until 2000. She is also known as the “main squeeze” of Bam Bam Bigelow.

“World Wrestling Entertainment has been made aware of the passing of Gertrude (Luna) Vachon. WWE extends its deepest condolences to the Vachon family. Ms. Vachon was under contract with WWE at various times from 1993 through 2000, and performed under the name “Luna” Vachon. She last performed for WWE in early 2000,” WWE said in a statement.
