John Edwards Reportedly Caught in Affair with Rielle Hunter

John Edwards was reportedly spotted having an affair with his mistress Rielle Hunter on Monday. Hunter reportedly has Edwards' love child.

The National Enquirer reported that Edwards was seen with Hunter at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California on Monday night.

Edwards attended a press event Monday afternoon with Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. Hunter had apparently driven to Los Angeles from Santa Barbara with a male friend to have a rendezvous with Edwards.

After months of investigation by the Enquirer on Edwards' affair, it was reported that Hunter and Edwards had secretly planned to meet after the mayor's event in order for Edwards to spend time with Hunter and their love child, whom Edwards has denied publicly.

The Enquirer broke the news of Edwards' love child scandal last year while Hunter was still pregnant and Edwards was still a strong candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination. Edwards denied the affair and love child with Hunter.

According to the Enquirer, Edwards was confronted at the Beverly Hilton on Monday and was bombarded with questions from Enquirer news reporters. "After we confronted him about seeing Rielle, Edwards looked like a deer caught in headlights," said Enquirer Senior Reporter Alexander Hitchen.
