Rushmore Drive to Offer Search Engine Geared for African-Americans

Rushmore Drive, an online search engine geared towards the African-American community, was recently launched.

RushmoreDrive.com is the brainchild of IAC's Barry Diller and Rushmore Drive CEO Johnny Taylor. Rushmore Drive is building a reputation of cornering the search engine experience to the niche audience of African-Americans.

On RushmoreDrive.com, users can search the web, news, images, videos, blogs and jobs. The site has partnerships with Ticketmaster, CitySearch and Home Shopping Network as their job section is broken down by regions for prospective employees.

Articles about Sen. Barack Obama and the CNN series "Black in America" are headlined on the front page of the site.

Diller's IAC owns Ticketmaster, CitySearch.com and Home Shopping Network, in addition to Ask.com and Expedia.com.

The Rushmore Drive search engine is located at http://www.rushmoredrive.com.
