Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal has once again declared he has no desire to run as the vice presidential candidate on the John McCain presidential ticket yet he remains firm on his desire to aid the Arizona senator in his bid for the White House come November.
Jindal has heard his name as a potential candidate for vice president but he has consistently told reporters he had the job he wanted as governor of Louisiana. In an interview with “FOX & Friends” on Wednesday that was made even clearer when Jindal declared, “Let me be clear: I have said in every private and public conversation, I’ve got the job that I want. And I’ll say again on air: I’m not going to be the vice presidential nominee or vice president. I’m going to help Senator McCain get elected, as governor of Louisiana.”
Jindal was sure to point out that he had never had a conversation with McCain about the vice presidency.
