Caroline Giuliani, the daughter of former NYC mayor Rudy Giuliani, received 1 day of community service Tuesday as part of a plea deal in her shoplifting case. The 21-year-old must complete the community service with the Department of Sanitation before her next court date, which is set for November 4.
Giuliani’s mother, Donna Hanover, and stepfather, Edwin Oster, stood beside her during the sentencing. Her lawyer refused to comment to the press.
Giuliani was arrested earlier this month at an Upper East Side Sephora store after attempting to steal $100 worth of products.
