maniaTV, the leading independent provider of internet television, and home to hit shows, Dave Navarro’s Spread Entertainment and National Lampoon Lemmings, today announced three new development deals with 3 Arts Entertainment, MacDonald Murray Management, and digital artists Paul Telner & Jason Fisher.

The deals, which all culminated at the recent Just for Laughs Comedy festival in Montreal, Quebec, are part of a strategy to expand the Comedy on Demand (COD) network operating under maniaTV’s umbrella. Lead by comedy development head and Executive Producer, Amber J. Lawson, each deal is constructed to experiment with short and long form interactive comedy content designed for online and mobile audiences.

The internet television network will collaborate on several projects with MacDonald Murray Management. The agreement between the two parties will bring MacDonald Murray an online platform to showcase their elite group of comedy clients.  “ManiaTV brings production experience and resources that will open avenues for our clients to explore” said partner, Alex Murray. “We have high hopes for this venture.

maniaTV also signed a deal with 3 Arts Entertainment (The Office, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Everybody Hates Chris) to work with Just For Laughs New Faces standout Michael Palascak. Michael will work closely with maniaTV to develop long and short form comedic content. “I was excited by his Chicago, guy next door appeal” said Amber J. Lawson. “I believe his comedy will resonate with online audiences across the country.”

Lawson also inked a deal with the comedic team of Paul Telner & Jason Fisher of the production company, Let It Out Entertainment. Telner is currently one of the most popular reality comedy personalities on the internet whose unique brand of comedic content has accumulated millions of views on various web video sites. Paul and his writing partner / director Jason Fisher plan to work with the Comedy On Demand (COD) team to experiment with pranks featuring new unique characters that interact with unsuspecting people on the streets. Telner’s biggest online video hit, the Friendly Goth has 1.4 million views on YouTube alone.

About Paul Telner and Jason Fisher

Paul Telner’s comedy mixes his goofy/wacky style with the edgy/reckless concepts of his writing partner and director Jason Fisher. Paul thinks work is boring, so he self-appointed himself to real jobs in the public space and screwed them up. The team is represented by UTA.
