Randy Pausch, “The Last Lecture” Professor, Dies

Randy Pausch, best known for delivering his ‘The Last Lecture” has died after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Pausch was 47.

 

Pausch delivered the now famous “The Last Lecture” on September 18, 2007 at Carnegie Mellon University and by December the address was posted on the Internet and instantly gained him fame for its sincerity regarding the role an individual plays in the world and inspirational life lessons.

 

Pausch’s fame was elevated in October 2007 when he delivered the address on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
