Randy Pausch, The Last Lecture Professor, Dies of Cancer

Randy Pausch, who became a YouTube hit with what was dubbed ‘The Last Lecture,’ has died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 47. The Carnegie Mellon professor’s famous lecture also became a bestselling book.

Pausch began the lecture about life and death after he found of he had terminal cancer. “You cannot change the cards you are dealt, just how you play the hand,” he said.
