“Spam King” Eddie Davidson Suspected of Killing Wife and Daughter in Murder-Suicide

Edward “Eddie” Davidson, known to the world as the “Spam King,” is suspected of fatally shooting his wife and 3-year-old daughter before turning the gun on himself.

Police in Bennett, CO received a call concerning shots fired and when they arrived they discovered the bodies of the three deceased as well as an unharmed infant in a car seat. A teenage girl that had been in the car was shot in the neck but managed to get out of the vehicle and ran for help.

Davidson, 35, had been serving a 21 month sentence at a minimum security prison in Florence, CO when he escaped last week. According to prison officials he made his way out when his wife visited him last Sunday.

In April Davidson was convicted of falsifying header information as a means of sending millions of spam e-mails in order to promote jewelry, stocks and other items. Davidson was also convicted of tax evasion and criminal forfeiture.
