Sheraton Colonia Golf & Spa Resort
Colonia, Uruguay

The spectacular Real Golf, a par 35, nine-hole course (will be a par 70 course when the remaining nine holes are finished by the end of 2006) features a par 5 hole, two par 3 holes, and six par 4 holes. The course is situated amongst Uruguayan Eucalyptus trees, lakes, and incredibly beautiful countryside. The putting greens offer different levels and the landing features of the greens and fairways are excellent. The course also offers great views of Colonia's gorgeous sunsets that light up the sky like nowhere else. Four different levels of tee offs are located at every hole, including a professional tee off.

Club de Golf del Cerro
Montevideo, Uruguay

Excellent design, beautiful views of the bay, the sea and Cerro fortress. In 1913 the Swift slaughter and cold-storage plant (USA) was built in this zone and as was customary with Swift, a golf course was added to the plans. The club house was brought over from Chicago and the club is baptized with the name CHIMONT, Chicago-Montevideo. In the decade of the 30's the famous designer Dr Alliester McKenzie was given the responsibility of re-designing the club and finally in the 1950's, when the Swift Company closed, the club was renamed with its present name.

Located five minutes from downtown and from any other place in Punta del Este. The field is undulating with a good number of maritime pine tree woods.

Located 14 km from downtown on the road to Montevideo, near Portezuelo beach on the coast of Sauce Lagoon. It has a typical American lay out: pretty rough land with long and narrow fairways and many bunkers. The greens are considered fast because of the slopes and pastures. There are five artificial lakes.
