Victoria Azarenka Collapses in Harsh Weather
On Wednesday, Belarusian tennis player Victoria Azarenka collapsed less than an hour into her second-round match at the U.S. Open. With 90 degrees (and a 42 percent humidity) beating on her, the 21-year-old former World Number 6 fell to the ground when she was trailing 5-1 in the first set of her match-up against Gisela Dulko of Argentina. Medical personnel rushed onto the court to attend to the fallen player and had to take her off the court in a wheelchair. There has been no immediate update on Azarenka's condition.
