Building in Russia Collapses, No One Hurt

An eight-story building in St. Petersburg, Russia partially collapsed Wednesday. The building, previously home of the St. Petersburg Police Department’s Investigators wing, was being renovated.

"The floors of the building caved in probably after the iron safes mounted inside the walls were removed before the renovation," a police department official was quoted as saying.

One person was working in a second-floor office and three people were working in the basement. All four people escaped unharmed.
