Established one year ago by lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Stanford Ashcraft, the group’s lineup includes Mark Simon (bass), Hal Chiasson (lead guitar) and Eric Aguiar (drums).  Immediately signed with Poizen Pop Records in association with Stanford Ashcraft’s previous affiliation, the band has been working on the recording of their debut album.

A 5 song EP is expected to be released within the next two months and will be followed by the band’s 12 song debut album.  Although the album is still unnamed, the album will explore the idea of the superstar and the loser in society today.  Ashcraft songs such as “Superstar” and “Supernatural Lover” will be included in the album.

Ashcraft will be playing at the Red Light Café in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday, July 26.  Doors open at 6:30 pm.  There will be a $10 cover charge at the door.  The band plays shows about twice a month, most of which are booked through Big Time Entertainment.  In the future they hope to compete in battle of the bands competitions as well as open for bigger bands at popular Atlanta venues such as The Masquerade and Smiths Olde Bar.
