Milwaukee Man Arrested for Shooting Lawnmower

A Milwaukee, WI man was arrested on Wednesday after he shot his lawn mower with a sawn-off shotgun because it would not start.

Keith Walendowski, 56, was charged with disorderly conduct and possession of a sawn-off shot gun. Police also found a handgun, stungun and several rounds of ammunition at Waledowski’s home. He is facing fines up to $11,000 and a maximum prison sentence of 6 ½ years.

According to police, at the time of arrest Walendowski told them “It's my lawn mower and my yard, so I can shoot it if I want."

Walendowski, who shares his home with his mother, was said to have been drinking when he shot the lawn mower.
